Choose a live-edge slab from our lumber inventory and we build your table around it. The species, the Chicago street it came down on, and the kiln moisture all travel with the finished piece. A walnut that shaded a Bucktown sidewalk becomes your dining table.

Can I pick the slab my table is made from?
Yes. For live-edge tables and casegoods you can choose the exact slab from our lumber inventory, then we build to your dimensions and base style. The provenance record for that slab travels with the finished piece, so you know the tree it came from.
Do you ship furniture nationwide?
Yes. Smaller pieces ship crated to all 50 states. Larger dining tables and casegoods ship by freight or, within the Chicago area, we deliver and place them ourselves. We confirm the method and cost before the build begins, never after.
How long does a custom furniture piece take?
Most custom pieces take roughly four to eight weeks from approved design to delivery, depending on the slab, the joinery, and our bench schedule. A live-edge dining table from a slab you pick yourself commonly lands around six weeks. We give you a real start date up front.
